Tai-chi chuan

Tai ChiTai-chi chuan, roughly translated, ‘highly elevated’ and chuan means (fist) or body and mind as one.
The word Tai-chi chuan is a definition derived from the Chinese philosophy where it is the basic element of all, divided in the light and dark part which forms Yin and Yang. These two sides represents the contradicting features like active- passive and softness- hardness. The purpose of Tai-chi is to bring body and spirit in perfect harmony.

Every human being has achieved a specific kind of balance sometime in life. Tai-chi helps in changing these patrons, which can sometimes be cause of stress or other complaints. The results are huge. Not only the way of how you move, but also how you feel and think and sense will be influenced.

Practicing Tai-chi can be of great benefit of your body. Your muscles will relax, you wil breath calmly and your body co-ordination will improve. When your muscles relax, your blood will also circulate more easily. The soft movements will furthermore relax your muscles below your lungs, your backbone and last but not least your organs. It is not strange that you can see Tai-chi as a cure to many complaints.
