Master Maulany has learned Tai-chi chuan and Wushu or Kungfu from Grandmaster Lee Fu-Leung. Grandmaster Fu-Leong gave many Eagle Claw seminars in the Netherlands from 1982 to 2000. Besides, Master Maulany has more than 29 years of experience in the traditional northern style Kungfu/Wushu, Tai-chi chuan and Qigong Yi.
He is also graduated as a Wushu/Kungfu and Tai-chi chuan teacher, member Dutch Foundation of Tai-chi chuan (STN), Dutch Wushu Federation (NWF) and the Union of Therapists (SIRTAG).
